Our cashmere is made to wear on repeat. It's the reliable

A sustainably designed sweater will look good in 10 or 20 years - it is based on style, not fashion.

The Cashmere Industry at present is under threat from fast fashion and the drive for cheaper and cheaper cashmere, which is turn leads to poor herding practises and the desertification of the Gobi desert.

By ensuring our Cashmere is organic and sustainable, we commit to ensuring the Gobi Desert is not abandoned after the herd has moved on, and is replanted so it can be used as pasture the following year.

Our factories use environmentally-friendly production methods and materials - all our Dyes are environmentally friendly.

We only use Certified Organic Cashmere - GOTS certified.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

What does GOTS mean?

Organic Certification

Organically produced fibre is required in GOTS.

This means that on the organic farm no GMOs, no artificial fertilisers and no agro-chemicals are used. Instead certified organic farmers use crop rotation and alternative methods of crop production

GOTS covers textile processing, manufacture, labelling and sale of clothes and other products through to the final consumer.
Permitted chemicals allowed in textile processing meet stringent criteria for environmental and human health (exceeding Greenpeace Detox requirements).

By using GOTS certified wool, the effects are.
46% less CO2 emissions.
70% less water consumption.
26% less use of energy
